"It is our failure to become our perceived ideal that ultimately defines us and makes us unique. It's not easy, but if you accept your misfortune and handle it right your perceived failure can become a catalyst for profound re-invention."

Kayla Sameski began dancing and training in all styles of dance at the young age of 6 in Greenville, SC. With a passion for dance, Kayla moved to New York City at 17 and was the youngest enrollee ever accepted into the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center. Kayla graduated from this program and was signed by Clear Talent Group. She began working as a professional dancer in New York City and then moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to continue her career. When in Los Angeles, Kayla quickly discovered her love for fitness, now working as a barre instructor and a Platefit trainer, along with becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE. She believes in living a healthy lifestyle and that exercise should be as fun as possible, building confidence within oneself to encourage your body to be stronger, leaner and more agile. Her passion is making people want to move their bodies and feel great from the inside out. Kayla inspires those around her with her high energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to making everyone work hard to become their strongest and healthiest self.
Three unknown facts about me:
1. favorite activity outside of group fitness is trail running
2. my home contains over 30 plants
3. I have hiked to the top of a very active volcano
Favorite PLATEFIT move- ball slams on the plate!
Favorite PLATEFIT class- glutes and abs
My favorite way to #RaiseYourVibe is to follow up my PLATEFIT class with a recovery class! The recovery class gives my body so much love after the work I put into the class before, I feel like I am really serving the needs of my body which definitely raises my vibe and makes me feel amazing inside and out!
